Welcome to the Cognitive Enhancement Therapy Training Support Portal! Here you will find resources, helpful tips, and demonstration videos to assist with implementing Cognitive Enhancement Therapy for persons with schizophrenia-spectrum and related conditions.
This is a training support portal designed to support clinicians as they learn CET using the official CET training manual written by G. E. Hogarty, M.S.W. and D. P. Greenwald, Ph.D (2006), which is available at www.CognitiveEnhancementTherapy.com/manual. This portal is not a replacement for the CET training manual, and the training manual is required for the implementation of CET, which includes detailed instructions for all neurocognitive training exercises and social-cognitive group sessions.
Please note that individuals represented in training videos are not patients or professional actors or models. They are developers, trainers, clinicians, students, and staff in the Cognitive Enhancement Therapy program at the University of Pittsburgh.
